I know in war grabs go back and forth and looking at my news all the grabs on me were pretty much getting 100% ghost acres. So why is it when I make a grab on a country not in DR I only get 4% ghost acres? Seems a bit unfair considering the effort I had to go to for the retal.

and i know what grab you are referring to, i saw it in the newsfeed when it happened..

i just realized because of the PDM landtrades it didn't even make the t10 acres grab list of this reset...

#447 is a funny country. If only he had buildings on that massive land... but I guess it would cost about 3 trillion or something just in cash to build it all up, and he would probably get too much nw to keep farming :)

haha actually i think the funny part is that everything unbuilt and like 140k free acres apparently gives you like 50k food and $5M cash per turn ;P

I'm unhappy because I've been farmed for 8000 acres where they were getting 100% ghost acres, and when I retal I only get 4%. I thought the whole point of making midhitting more attractive was to cut out bottomfeeding and topfeeding, while I "got my land back" they still gained 8k acres making bottomfeeding still a lot more profitable than topfeeding.

but in all honesty, i hope you aren't serious about this quote after i explained what was going on... can you read my answer to why you got 300 ghost acres before you complain about bottomfeeding vs topfeeding? =)

the good news though is that from those BRs on you recently making you a huge parking lot also, you won't have that problem of people getting 100% ghost acres off you. they will get 4% also ;) i hope that addresses your concern

Nah I'm a bit fluffed off that I can't drop the 3k acres I had before the grab because I've grabbed too much.

You have grabbed 9,759 acres in the last 72 hours. You cannot drop land you've grabbed for 72 hours.

Land: 9777

so by those maths I only had 18 acres. He grabbed acres back, so they should be scrubbed off the grabbed list.

As for the ghost acres:
7/29/2011 03:56:50 tiekoon (#447) LCNostra FROOT2LOOPY (#846) SOL SS 235 Acres / + 213 Acres

That's still near as fluffit 100% ghost with 3/4 of my land empty.

Thats not quite how the Ghost Acres work from what I understand.

He may have been out of SS/PS DR but he was likely not out of Ghost Acre DR. Check the news, was he SS/PS 72hrs prior or sooner by someone else? If so, he was still in Ghost Acre DR.
