netgaining farmers shouldn't be selling bushels right now. Oil is too expensive as an alternative stock.

Wargaining farmers on the other hand are selling, and if Imag and Sanct war, I would expect to see alot of destocking and a drop in the food price.

there's no way anybody can get more than 730M bushels without FA. im not convinced that the 730M is even legit, considering lenshark should be the biggest guy out there right now.

actually highrock, i did a quick scan and the evo country that seems to have done that is certainly capable of having around that much.

i think lenshark and that guy started stocking as the same time as demo techers (one on 30k and one on 25k).

i'm guessing lenshark to be 800-900M range right now, and that guy to be 700M range right now so 730M is certainly plausible

i thought you dont want to spend too much time to break 200M qz :P

which reminds me, i think techers are OP. the fact that bakku broke 300M and there's a good chance those two evo techers can do the same this reset while it's hard as hell for other strats to do so tells me techers need some tuning :P

the new bonus points system really let techers do super well now, at least in alliance (i dont play other servers so i can't speak for those)

a: i was a farmer, and casher is significantly stronger than farmer.
b: really i was 55k, and suicided, the extra 17k hardly made a difference to my end nw

Also the thing most people arnt considering is the variance in market conditions, the tech market has remained abnormally high for quite a long time the past two resets.

A well played casher can definitely still beat a well played techer, but the main issue is simply that the better players tend to play techer over casher because you have a shorter grabbing phase and more variety in the ways you can play it, if you want to do well as a casher, there is no midfeeding, there is no early jump, its simply bottom feed to atleast 50-60k if you want a shot at winning.

why did the bushels crash so early? i predicted them to peak at 53 and crash when they did (was pretty damn close) but it crashed for reasons unexpected. the imag/collab war would have helped reduce prices but it was postponed. Rival and Rage members have bought up the last few days that could have affected it as well. but could the main factor have been the euro debt crisis/italy scare??

The warring countries dumped stock and at least one of the evo techers has destocked. One big destock is enough to drop the market. I did it last set afterall ;)
