I have one, and American Pitbull mix. Complete sweetheart named "Sophie". She's a couch potato for the most part, doesn't play fetch unless it's something edible, and then doesn't bring it back. Otherwise, she'd help the burglar carry out the TV for a milkbone and a pat. My favorite breed is Golden Retriever, had one in the Navy, got to be a 3 state obedience champion, earned his keep through studding fees. My second favorite breed is the Pekingese, they are completely without fear, never bark, and are basically a big dog trapped in a little dog body.
I don't need anger management, people need to stop pissing me off!

Never understood why you westerners keep dogs and cats as pets. We raise them to eat all the time here.

And that is why your country has never managed to accomplish much. You never realized the utility of dogs. They have capabilities you don't know about since you roast them before you can find out.

The animals we choose to eat isn’t really about that. Dogs are harder to keep contained and you dont get as much return for your investment. Cows in the other hand are easy to keep fenced in and u freed grass... much better for domestically farmed meats. Killas country is just too stupid to realize that. Other than that meat is meat and animal is an animal.

6 purebred Rottweilers. Show dogs and occasional breeding. 1 is a Canadian Champion in the ring.
Biggest sucky baby's in the world. To their families.

Pity the city that tries to enter my backyard. Very loyal, loving and protective.

We also have a Maine Coon indoor cat, that rules the dogs when they've been brought inside for one reason or another.

The dogs have insulated and heated outdoor living sheds, and love the cold.
They have a double coat which protects them nicely.

Although today it's -27C with the windchill.

I suffer more than they do, that's for sure.

I have a pit bull / shih tzu mix. I call him a fluff-bull. But he 100% rocks. He's a lap dog couch potato, but he'll fetch also, and is great on walks.

Some Puerto Rican friends of mine over in Philly have a Chihuahua-ShihTzu mix they refer to as a Mexican Turd. She's loads of fun to watch when the squirrels get spotted. She loses her mind over them. Tries to climb the trees and everything. LOL Watched her use a ladder once that was left standing against a tree.

I have a Chihuahua and a boxer. The boxer sits on the Chihuahua. Other than that, both are lazy dogs.

My family used to raise golden retrievers growing up. They used to be my favorite breed.

Then, my wife and I adopted a schnauzer/staffordshire mix about 3 years ago. He is the most loyal dog I've ever had.

Adopted is my new favorite breed.

Italian mastiff/Cane Corso
French mastiff/Dogue de Bordeaux.

Both are crazy smart, large breeds. Personalities really show in larger breeds. Facial and body expressions.
Super loyal, protective over the home and family members. Can be extremely sweet.

I don’t have a favorite... but

My sister has a border collie/shepherd mix which is an extremely friendly and high energy family member. He can easily run 30 miles/day. Luckily he lives on a large piece of land and can get plenty of exercise.

My mom has 2 miniature dachshunds (doxies) which my perfect guard dogs (bark at everything) and have wonderful personalities.

My friend has a grey hound. Every morning he lets it out for a high intensity sprint and the remainder of the day is spent in his bed recovering. Grey hounds seem very easy to take care of.
