Make them played by some AI and let us fight over them. I miss the old days where there were tons of countries to grab. Now there's like 50 untagged countries who are getting farmed to pieces and a bunch of clans all able to retal!

The maxed warfare tech is that they (all of them) will chem kill anyone that hits them more than 2 times a day :P

Haha sounds good. If it's possible to code a more advanced AI it could look for weakness in the grabbers. AB the ones with low on tanks, spy the ones with low spal etc.

ok but then you have a 1 in 5 chance of getting 100 chems unloaded on your country (per hit)

random missile/ab retals by a random # of the untagged countries, with the chance of a reaction greatly increased by multiple untagged countries, so there's some risk involved.

Also, randomise the strats just enough to make it hard to tell what is a AI country, and what is a newbie.

great idea. given im back from about 10 years ago, and the restart a few days out of protection sitting around 500knw getting declared on by 6+ mil NW countries and grabbed.... signs of things needed to be changed.

Who me? :) I'm just venting frustration over too few countries to grab. I guess the game's changed now and we all have to adapt. Perhaps we have to start to FS eachother just to later on be able to farm somebody. If people give a war DNH while you farm/kill, you could gain some land, atleast those players who know how to play.

Personally I think it would be a good idea. MD had several new recruits this reset who never played the game before. The ones that quit, did so because the game was boring to them. They wanted to grab, but no one to grab, even when we have a pool of 80 countries in SoL/RD to grab.

More countries to grab makes the game more fun, although it is artificially inflating the numbers of course. But yeah it might be needed to let the alliance server grow a bit.

God knows I dislike grabbing now too. I do not wanna wait until the very second a target goes out of DR just so another guy hits it while i hit the target. It is rather boring, and I do not do it that much this set.

And that being said people play the sims a fluffload too, as well as farmville. People just wanna see their country grow and do better, even if it doesn't mean that much. The better players will still be better, but the sucky players will have more sense of accomplishment. And that is what helps the game to grow.

Baseless claims. I mean next you will be trying to tell me that LaF have never run GDI farms that declare war on their premium members. You do understand in LaF that there are the premium members and the minions, right? The premium members (the best netters) get everything served up on a platter for them. The minions like you, well I guess you're just there to help LaF war when needed =)

Real players would still be competing over the land. 1000 countries is obviously too much but a couple of hundred countries would still make us wait for DR to pass etc.

Landgrabbing used to be a crucial skill but from what I see it's pretty much gone now, it's mostly all explorers or those grabbing in wars like MD vs SoL/RD. There are those grabbing clans that can retal just to get away with the building bonus but I don't think the damage makes it worth it compared to exploring.

But then again, perhaps there is a better way to solve this. Hopefully we will get new players from facebook and the app stores in the future anyway.

if EE had 10k+ players there would be plenty of land to grab (and more wars of course but that's expected).

last i checked, no one can control what their members does, but if anyone that studies the news of untags that do retal, it's quite obvious what has been going on in the game,

every set it happens, and every set it's a 'baseless' proof.

i guess EVO are just so lucky that untags don't seem to want to retal them after getting farmed, but loves top feeding alliances that hasn't touched them.

it's not a baseless claim and it's one of the reasons why i'm quitting this game.

imag has fat countries cause they are netting.

But the actual new players in some kind of protection, they can get it 1-2 times per day max or something. instead but the landfarms in a special tag that can be farmed. This way actual new players wont get farmed too much and we can still grab.

how to separate new players and old players with new account?
