I'm a bit torn on whether to consider his finish in the same class as RD or SoF's top rankers from last set or legit. On one hand, he did take a big risk with the PDM war so it's "legitimate" land (risk:reward ratio), on the other hand he got a fair bit from RD and a detagger basically with no repercussions..

I was going to be considered not legit by many people for the GSing.. Despite the fact that PDM topfed me the day we did the farm chat and I wouldn't have had a chance to retal, and the fact that even if I didn't participate I would have been targeted by PDM anyways, as I was the only LAF'r to escape midfeeding without being retal'd(other than missiles, which PDM hit me with 4 nukes)

None of that is considered though, or the fact that SOL topfed me for 7k land which I let another LAF'r retal and didn't two step(which you did last set highrock...)

or that I am personally paying the reps for our detagger.

The ironic part is that before I hit RD and our detagger I was still headed for about a 215m net finish, which I am almost certain would have been rank 1 anyways.. but if the accusations were starting about me getting GSd then, I figured why not remove all the arguments and go straight into the 'not legit' category.

That's fine if you want to think that my two step was not legit. I didn't realize that last set when i did it, and I won't do it again. But the difference was that my two step actually benefitted me very minimally because i only took back what i lost plus a tiny bit, which is what i would've gotten had I taken the retal myself (and I had more than enough jets on hand to take it, so the "I had to blow stock" argument holds no water).

The difference is that you knowingly did everything you did this set, and every single thing you did benefitted you tremendously. Personally with the tech prices that happened, I think you had a pretty good chance at #1 without the GSing and 11k free acres. You would've come out of that PDM fiasco with 40k plus acres anyway since PDM got killed pretty soon after.

When you consider PDM topfed me for 3500 day of chat, and missiled me for 4k before that, coupled with the fact hitting them complicated finishing my conversion and I was grabbing fine(fattest country in the game) before PDM it didn't really help me. Infact 1 grab grim PDM on mr during everything wouldn't meant I lost out on the exchange, hence the gs's

Well considering that you got 17,627 acres net including ghost acres from PDM all set (including the topfeeds and nukes), I'm going to go out on the limb and say that one or two more topfeeds from them wouldn't have hurt you all that much. It's only a natural price to pay for raping PDM. Plus most people would sit on more than 2M turrets when they have 40k acres and not have to rely on GSing.

Highrock with all due respect you're counting my wr grabbing in those numbers making them skewed.

I'm talking just about the farming time frame. I still owed PDM for the 4k in nuked land and a 3500 topfeed.

Also, If we didn't have issues with PDM I wouldnt have had to worry about topfeeds as everyone else was dnh'd at that point, and I was in the midst of a conversion.

Regardless I consider my gs's on par with your two stepping. The accusations of it pushed me to do other actions as a 'I don't give a fluff response
