I loved the game because I could create maps with AS MUCH ORE AS I WANTED!!!!

Just imagine hundreds of tanks, troops, rocket launchers, ore trucks, etc coming up against hundreds of turrets and pill boxes backed by more rocket launchers and (if you've used engineers to take over certain enemy buildings) tesla coils. That was the life, to just sit back and watch my computer slowly grind to a halt.
