Hope all is well. Death toll is at 231 according to CNN, pretty unbelievable. We here in Knoxville were spared the worst of it in that we didn't get a tornado. Enormous hail caused a lot of damage here though, my windshield is broken and it looks like someone blasted my car with a pellet gun all over. Obviously could have been a lot worse though.

we've had pretty hard storms in south georgia, but it's just been thunderstorms. atlanta had tornados, but i dont think they did much damage, thankfully.

Indeed, this thread's got more merit than most of the fluff on here. I wish everyone in the south/midwest/anywhere else the best of luck.

Also, what time is the CS against mother nature?

yes, but "Of the 13,636 murder victims in 2009 for which supplemental data were received, most (77.0 percent) were male. (Based on Expanded Homicide Data Table 1.)"

http://www2.fbi.gov/...information/homicide.html

dang, 231 people were killed by natural causes or acts of God... God needs to pick up his or her pace if he's going to try and punish people by the detah. otherwise, people will beat him to it.

you'd think God would be a little more accurate than accu-weather, but they do good work.

(and i think it was like forty days, maybe forty nights)

that's the time he was stuck on the boat humping the sheep, i don't recollect anywhere where it was stated that he had 40 days or nights to sleep on whether or not he should do as God asked him to.

man, what do they mean that the Egyptians needed 40 days to embalm somebody? dang union labor...

how did they keep the corpse from stinking during the process?

ahh, that's how clothes pins were invented and why they're big enough to stick over your nose...

i don't smell anything, do you? oh, here, put this on your nose...

i misunderstood, i thought you was talking about the actual rain (your coastal flooding joke :P)

that said, there was no question. noah was a just man, perfect in his generations. thus noah did, according to all that He commanded of him.

(I made a bad joke and thought it would left at that, not meaning to take away from the actual thread, so sorry on that account)

I'm okay as well. I'm a lil less than an hour out of Atlanta, and we got nothing more than some heavy winds and rain. Even the thunder and lightning was not extensive. My uni town was also spared back in Auburn, AL, though they were under a tornado warning for an hour. I want to get back there and check my place out just for peace of mind.
