We're talking about a degree or two in the next hundred years and nobody has any clue how to prevent or reverse it with our current technology. That may very well, and almost certainly will, change within the time frame provided. The Earth has been warmer many times before. This is not a huge catastrophe, and the money people want to be put towards climate change is not money towards solving a problem. It's money that more often than not gets redistributed to countries that have no incentive themselves to solve their own contributions to the problem. Believe it or not, most western nations have actually come a long way to cutting emissions on their own. The US is a big emitter of CO2, etc, but that has been steadily going down since the 1970's. Whereas countries like China and India are going to overtake the US quickly, hell, I think Australia already has with far less people. Find a solution that works, give me a reasonable price that factors in opportunity costs, and then ask the taxpayers to open their checkbooks. I think people are forgetting that nearly every western nation is in a mountain of debt and your children are going to have to pay it off someday, so throwing money at problems that are not going to come to fruition in the next hundred years that you have no idea how to solve might be a bad idea, unless you'd rather your children live in a bankrupt third world country.

As a therapist I've done some research on the subject in the past as quite a few clients/patients ran into issues after growing up with a lot of stigma's. Science proves us that free thinkers get much further in this world when it come to career, school, health and building a family / life but also run into less issues when it comes to mental health (reduced chances of burn-out or depression for example).

So raising childeren as free thinkers gives them more oppurtunities in general. Up to you how you take what I just said. If you want me to post you literature and studies on how stigmatizing these kind of types with childeren can damage them in the long run I can post you a ton. But then again you should be able to google that yourself.

Where you lose me is when the homo flag is a symbol of everything you just explained. So the bias is truly a two way street. Education does not need to be a total immersion in a specific lifestyle. Progressives think otherwise. I know folks that have raised their children like that. The kids are like aircraft pilots constantly looking for a safe space to land, and angry when someone isn't telling them where the safe spaces are. A Free thinker doesn't mean there are no boundaries and that as a parent you allow god everything.
Free thinkers learned to judge and evaluate situations they see by themselves from different perspectives and by a free process of thought. Stigmatized childeren get limited to stigma's that have been imprinted which deters their ability to see or evaluate a situation from as many different angles as possible.

I think cops like arresting people if you ask me, most joined the force for the authority and power. I doubt any of them really believe prison is solving crime issues. I like the incentives not to commit a crime though. Once they get too prison most of them discover how to be more clever at commiting more crimes, by being surrounded by like minded individuals and the Corrections Officers just care about making a paycheck and going home safe. Which is totally understandable, but ineffective. Than once they leave prison the guards tell em "see you again soon" on their way out.
