in today's go-go-go world, a TIE is just not practical most of the time. As such, except in extremely formal industries, such as banking, finance or law "lawyering" as i call it, the tie just sits in the cupboard, gathering dust.

Not sure how this thread half turned into a TIE reunion thread...About half the active TIE went to LCN, the rest are all over the place.

I speak hypocritically when i say that, as a TIE, I do not like formality.

Does your briefcase have a tie in it for emergencies?
