All of you who thought the "protesters" at the monument deserved what they got, you have also condoned behavior like this by the police. It is only the natural evolution. The police state is here. :(

I have no idea who the protesters you refer to are, but shut the fluff up hippie. Police make mistakes just like everyone else...

i've had them show up simply because some punk used my address for his driver's license. ditch the fear before it kills you.

While googling that incident a bit more I found a few articles that said that the raid was not done by SWAT nor was it because of defaulting on student loans. It was done because of a multi million dollar student loam scam/fraud.

*shrug*

The monument incident is F-ed though.

I agree with the Jefferson monument police busting up the "protesters" there... having a swat team bust in someones door because of student loans by the Board of Education... is alittle extreme... don't blame the police, they have a job todo... blame whoever ok'd the Board of educations extreme take on collecting the loans...

The whole SWAT thing has gotten out of control anyway, all of these little piss ant towns have swat teams and they feel like they have to use them to get their moneys worth. Buncha fat assed ninja suit wearing, donut eating, Barney Fife asshats.
