actually with market orders and less arbitrage oppurtunities b/c of an experienced player base I would think doing well with a 10k acre country would be much harder now eug.
not to mention (not sure exactly what era oaf did this in) but most probably it was an era with fewer turns than currently exist in alliance and possibly an era with no ghost acres and thus smaller avg land of normal countries compared to today...
He fell out of the top 10 once or twice, but he did eventually get it.
This all happened back when oil was still new to the game, and he achieved his NW's via oil reselling (as the market was a lot more volitile back then)
yea it does seem like with the new changes it would seem harder because all the bonuses and stuff benefit bigger countries a lot more than it would a smaller country.
