Last I checked it was Canada that was the "energy superpower" and that it was Canada that was the USA's largest supplier of oil, natural gas, and electricity.

California buys over 50% of its consumed energy from Canada (the east coast buys quite a bit too). I think it should be you guys worried about brownouts moreso than us :P

Well, the US produces almost 3x more oil than Canada, but we import more from Canada than from anyone else, by far. But yes, we'd be screwed without Canada.

No one lives in Canada, so therefore nothing gets used.
