I'm sorry but unless you give better advice to the new players the game will die due to everyone who plays it atm. I suggest like 300 turn protection and if possible a list of start-ups to choose from to turn 100, i.e. Farmer, Casher, Indy that new players can choose from and will automatically be ran for them with an option to customize of course.

Cheating will be rampant but another suggestion is like they said, a Primary like server on FB with information on http://www.earthempires.com so you can still moderate the players on EE moderating on FB will be more then likely impossible

We have started on our efforts to add advice (as you hopefully have seen with the advisor-guy); secondly, we are directing new players towards Primary or Tournament; this should prevent some of the instant-death that happens heh.

Thirdly, we've been talking about simplifying the startup phase a bit, for the benefit of all.

We have a reasonable handle on cheating right now I think; while it is technically possible to cheat with fairly sophisticated techniques, casual cheating is next to impossible now.

pang means no 5 ps's against 1 country by several players per day.

I believe Pang means learn some respect for new players which this game has been fluffting on for the past how many years?

he means that those possible new players won't get farmed to ground.

I would love to see a server with ONLY new players see where they take the politics of the game etc would be very interesting

im pretty positive they would nuke each other to death pretty quick, if they find how to produce them...

My rl friend still thinks nukes can grab land after playing 4 months now. My point being noobs = noob.

well little FYI I enjoyed this game tenfold when I was a n00b.. I mean by Earth standards in my netgaining abilities(outside FFA) I am very much so still a n00b. If I posted with my known Earth alias you would understand
