So, i brought this up to QZ yesterday.

We were talking about cheating and i asked something along the line of when is enough enough.

I think, in my own unbiased opinion:) that i have a good solution

The punishment should fit the crime.

Market coordination amongst players on solo.servers:

One day freeze/sanction for all.servers for first offense

5 day freeze/sanction on all.servers for second time.

third time delete country on sight and sanction all servers for however long

Coordinated attacks

Same as above but more strict guidlines with reinstated land loss or countries for ppl who were attacked

Mulites

All servers get deleted

+1

My opinion of the "punishment fits the crime"... If you cheat at the game, you cannot play the game.

I would like to have the consideration put into the "coordination" clause that if you are ingame allied to a player who has been unjustly attacked and as a good ally, you decide to unilaterally help your ally, you should NOT be punished for coordination.

This happened to me a while back and it makes NO SENSE to deny a valid in game ally the opportunity to help his ally.

If this is to be the case, why even have allies at all?

There's no point to playing if you can't play with 2 or 3 friends that you make during the course of the solo games.

I use the solo games to meet new players all the time since a new player in Alliance usually gets the crap farmed out of him and quits the game in disgust, it is more likely to find newbies in the solo games and it would be nice to be able to protect them a small amount from some of the assholes that play like assholes here and abuse the hell out of newbies simply because they can.
I don't need anger management, people need to stop pissing me off!

Because that counts as coordination. If you don't get punished for it, then "clans" will form, where everyone just inter-allies each other, and then it would just be another Alliance server. Got attacked? Hey let's get all my allies in, and my allies' allies and then their allies as well. Then the other side does the same!

It is a solo server, and SOLO means exactly that. If you derive anything further than the ingame benefits of having said alliance, then it is coordination.

See this thread for some discussion about it (starting about halfway down first page): http://www.earthempires.com/...ht%3F--27542?t=1386221160

If being a SOLO server is gonna so strict on coordination, any discussed on irc or boxcar will also be considered as coordination.

a simple sentence like "Im selling 5m turrets for $125" that could be a hint to you to sell your turrets at $124 or less since you know theres a 5m turret block at $125, it benefits you as you know your units will be sold before his and you can run turns after that.

another sentence like "Im gonna retal #XX tomorrow" you know #XX is gonna get retalled by your 'friend' the next day, so you might want to hit him since he will be slowed down by your 'friend's retal the next day

or "I'll be destock in 3 days" if the person stocking has a huge stock, you know he's gonna dump his stock on the market on that day, you'll do it first before him to benefit from it.
