I had some fun ABing 122 the last hour, but it’s been like a decade since I’ve played, use to be earth2025.

Can someone remind me the best way to kill a country? This was a blast from the past, but probably gonna be my last reset - not enjoying the bots... but I do like the express idea.

Most common is using GS along with CM to kill population. BR's work well and third would likely be SS land kills.

Like you, I recently returned after not playing for years. I too was frustrated with the bots and the environment. Almost left after 3 or 4 sets. I'd suggest that you give it several sets and you'll find that it comes really easy. -v

consider tourney - tourney is pure solo now, no bots, with less restrctive gdi rules than express and now only 2 levels, smallish sets, thin market, regular players --- rather more like 2025 than express, imo

but i agree with vicvixvi - as you get used to it, express has it's own, er, charm ... and really, there is no better way to get the rust off

in express, if you are land grabbing a person you are most likely not going to win the round. look at the countries that finish top 5 consistantly. do they land grab people? no they do not. they only ever retal people. they land grab bots. need help, just ask me.
