I logged in today to find I'm GDI?

When was the players choice removed?

I believe a player should have the right to cancel GDI if they so choose.

I'd like to understand who made this decision and why. In my opinion the more you tell a player what to do and lock the game down from its potential greatness you lose the will to play.

People were abusing DR to cheat repeatedly and something needed to be done.

According to the proposed changes you would be able to leave GDI at any time.

This is the test run. I hope they tell us exactly what rules make up this pilot program however. Someone will have to test mutli-tapping people and see how many hits it takes to switch off GDI. Also curious about how the DR is going to work.

I'm all for the new changes and glad they weren't implemented mid-set like they were in Alliance. Some clarification or posting of the new rules changes would be great.

Pretty sure that tapping as much as 7x on the same country doesn't get you out of GDI.

so at this point its safe to assume everyone starts in GDI. multiple tapping will only void your GDI with THAT country.

shame. it was annoying, albeit kind of entertainng seeing those 80k nw countries OOP try and kill each other. and some guy would end up with like 5-6 kills by resets end. and be like 200k nw.

landkilling is real dumb tho. i mean unless they have like 300A. it takes way longer than special attacks.

anything under 2k acres takes less hits then a typical special attack kill.

even if every lg was 10A against someone with 2k. It would still take only 200 attacks. So for 2k acres, you can LG much less than 100 attacks for land kill

GS usually takes somewhere between 120 to over 250 depending on gov, war dec, and mil strat tech.
