Relative noobie here with some quick questions.

How does the private market (PM) max work given a set land?
The longer I do not log-in, the larger my PM market will be?

Similarly, for resource decay on cash over $2bil, each turn I receive I will lose X% of my cash stored?

Thanks

Metygl,

Yes on the private market question.

No on the cashing question though. Only when you SPEND turns you lose cash. .1% of the amount over 2 billion per turn I believe

its (cash over 2b*.001). so if you have 2.2b you will loose 200k cash per turn played.

some people arent good at math so telling them what the numerical value of .1% makes it easier to figure out :P

i suppose you could just type Cash*.1% and get the same number though

Just to check if I understand in reference to the PM question:

If I have 2k acres and I wait long enough before logging in,
my PM will be big enough that I would need > $2 billion dollars to completely buy it out?

Theres a maximum amount on the PM that depends on how many acres you have. The number of acres also determines how many new units go on your PM every turn. Military Base resellers rpeatedly buy out their PM and resell the goods on the market. They can do this because Military tech, and Military Bases, reduce the price you pay on the PM. Prices are especially low for Theocracies

There's a maximum. At 2k acres you won't need much to buy it out lol.

What exactly is that maximum?

For example, if I did not make any purchases, I found that my PM was of a different size if I logged in-and-out after 1 hr, compared to logging in-and-out after 12 hrs. Can someone confirm this?

Then my PM would gradually shrink from the 12-hr size back down to a smaller size.

There is a formula somewhere, theoretically if you never logged in your PM would continue to grow. Your PM decays based on the number of units on your PM, so there is no hard and fast answer to your question without knowing all the variables.

PS I'm too lazy to go find the formula.

The PM has no maximum. If you logout for 10 days, then you would login with 10 days worth of PM. PM has 2 rules:

A) PM regenerates at a fixed rate per turn that ticks by.
B) Existing units in PM decays away at 1.5% per turn.

The only difference is (A) is added at login, (B) occurs all the time, so PM units at login = (PM at logout * 0.985^turns) + (PM Regen * turns) where turns is the amount of new turns you get at login. If you empty your PM at every login, then the first part of the equation essentially decays nothing.

Accessing your country in any way is considered a login.
