Teching seems to be the way to go...

50m bushels at 35 = 1.75b which equal an avg of 7m networth without any real planning 9m if you plan it.

and if you were 3rd place with those acres you should of had way over 75m nw as a techer.

comparing to my 8340 acres to your acres I would of had 112m nw if I had your acres by the time I explored to 8340

If I'd a had it all built in labs....seems like there is a acreage limit for techers, somewhere around 20k -25k where it gets too expensive to build/ convert to all labs.. when your building....your not teching..

What if #24 hit into #33 and #33 was "jet heavy"?

lol a few sets ago Ektar got mad that I retalled him for 3x the land 20 hours later with all jets but I still had 200+ turns on hand after that so didnt' matter as my turrets outpaced his jets in minutes.

As for the quote, Vic taught me that lesson right after I began playing Express. I think it took a couple of sets for me to completely understand as I was the short end of the 3x the land a couple of weeks, making his "Noob vs Pro" thread. I finally learned to hold turns and hit targets that I think cannot retal later. And, that is now when I retal - when it is convenient and much more profitable for me. I'll give up 50-100 acres early in the week to gain 1k on Saturday or maybe even Sunday.

And before people get all pissed about it, the remedy is do not hit a country (no matter its size) that is holding a lot of turns if you don't want to be hit later.

Where are all my commie brothers that used to dominate the top 10? Has the game been tweaked, or some great techers playing?

I wish I could play demo like those guys that finished 2, 4, and 8. I had a top 10 the very first time I played demo a couple of years ago as a farmer, but I don't think those guys were playing demo farmer, and I'm guessing that reseller takes more time than a good commie country does. (I always associate it with daytrading stock and it requires a lot of focus and time, which I never have!)

Hope to see you guys in a few days..I wonder how many are going to think I'm a noob since I haven't played in a few months and double or triple tap me, which requires major retal. Heck, I wonder if I can remember my strat so I don't play like a noob!
