Was talking to someone recently. Are we, FFA community as a whole, happy with the current length of FFA? 60 days.

Would you, the community, be interested in 90 day reset? I'd like to see that.

Would make wars MUCH more interesting, IMO.

90 would be just like the old days

it would also make it where people have to wait longer to actually get back into the netting scene though. i want a new set to start so i can get back into the game, but if it were a 90 day reset i would have to wait longer.

this would apply for people that are through with wars too. say clan a gets hit by clan b and the one clan loses fair and square. once the war is over, and it is obvious when the wars are over, the losing clan has to pretty much sit out the rest of the set. i know some losing clans like to keep fighting for pride, but for the players that don't have that desire now have to sit out for longer.

i would love to have 90 day sets if i knew i was going to be able to net for the full 90 days every set, but that is just a pipe dream in this game anymore.

90 days? Na.. 60 is fine at the moment, sure a war would last longer, but the constant resarts etc etc would take its toll after a short time.

Sure a 90 day set would mean more fun for the netters, but all in all, someone joining 45 days in would have no chance of netting or warring. They then have to wait another 45 days for the set to restart. Would lose interest IMO.

Right now am currently the restart queen. Should the game go to 90 days, would automatically become the restart empress.

I'd like to see the 90 day resets come back. Of course, with more turns per day than original E2025, NW's start getting off the hook as is. Add another month and you'd need a Cray to resolve all the maths.

If you think about it, with the extra turns per day, the game is already within what.. 2 weeks of the old game if you base it on total turns as opposed to days?

I think, given that the developers are looking to hugely expand the user base in the near future (targeted advertising, facebook app, etc), it's best to keep resets at 60 days for the time being, just so new players don't come in 40 days in, and have to go through another month and a half of getting pounded by countries that got started on day 1.

In the future though, once the game reaches a bit more stable user base, expanding sets to 90 days would be a fun idea.

personally i think this set seems like its been for ever but i'm easy.

I would rather the server give turns faster and resets be shorter (yes, I realize there are other servers for this, but not where you can play multiple countries :-P FFA Express!)

Fully agree with many of the previous posters. 60-days is fine for now, especially if we're trying to grow the player base. And also, as malykii said, if a war happens and I'm netting, it's an even longer period that I have to wait to get back into things.

As it is, I'm dying for a new set to get a fresh start.

90-old school...but i like crippler's idea...i like shorter sets...its gives variance to the game...not always will the netters win nor the warrers not do well in teh game...it would change each set in the ranks

90 days would be fun, but what its at right now is really fine.

90 day sets was with 40 minute turns

i think 36+6+3 for 45 a day

45*90=4050

78*60=4680

78*90=7020

so the reset would be almost twice as long as it used to be

90 days is way to long

just fyi, the whole original argument towards going with slower turns and a longer set was to limit the power of an FS.

Most people seem to be happy with 60 day sets rather than 90. It also seems to be towards the upper threshold of peoples attention spans for a single set:P
