why don't they just tell their children that they can get a tattoo when they turn 18? is it even legal to tattoo children without parental permission? maybe their kids are involved in some illegal underground tattooing organization?

doubt tattooing underagers is illegal. of course it varies by states: http://en.wikipedia.org/...oing_in_the_United_States

looks like it's a misdemeanor in most states if it's done without parental permission. just doesn't violate any federal law.
