It's a change... and I would be in favour for a much more radical change in attacking/warfare to spice things up if it makes the game more fun.

I do think that it is unfair changing the rules during a set though when some attackers might be caught out and miss out top hitter by a few hits (especially if there some bug/glitces). It wont effect the course of the war and it may only have a marginal impact on potential hitstats, but it is reminiscent of Omac expanding the set by two weeks that time.
