More turns in a day leads to:

A) More volatile market (and more people trying to undercut each other). Brought to extremity, it encourages turn hoarding - see Express server.

B) Increased FS strength, because even though you have double the turns, and half the damage so that it is so called in "status quo", if you ALSO didn't half the pop growth, half the TPT, half the food income, half the cash income, half the upkeep, half the building costs, make CSes take 2 turns to build, half the BPT, etc, then it really isn't in status quo at all.

The FSing alliance will be able to pull ahead faster, especially in a situation where the defender has no stored turns (ahead by 240(240) turns), since essentially the FSing alliance has 2x as much income if it isn't halved.

C) If you don't half the rate at which DR builds up, it would lead to lower land amounts across the server, because you would require 2x as many land grabs to grab the same amount of land, but you don't get 2x as much ghost acres, particularly due to the new C:C DR. This again, strengthens planned land trading (with multiple partners) and weakens bottomfeeding.

D) You will lose more players who will find that they do not have enough time to play this game more than once a day.
