I think that if it is Clinton Vs Trump, Trump will win.
I think that the sheer level of corruption (perceived or real) in the Democratic Party's nomination process will hurt.

You cannot unbalance a democratic system out of a viable (moderate) left or right alternative without consequences. This might take a while, but it tends to end badly.

This country has voted for other ass-clowns as president's so nothing is unbelievable. I have never partook in an election and voted. I have always been working on those days. To be honest, I think the leadership pool is weak in this country. All the natural born leaders are held down by politics and those who are ambitious but do not possess actual leadership qualities or attributes.

Everything is smoking mirrors in America: education doesn't equal intelligence, age doesn't equal wisdom.

Too often politicians and leaders alike on the local to the national level find clever ways of reaching out to people, with words full of fall short promises, followed by another false re-run to "finish the job" because you know how things take time. I have finally come to the belief that if a person doesn't take initiative to make a change at the lower levels, they are not going to do it while in higher positions of power. The promise of taking charge and making a swift change is what get's the people excited enough to want to elect someone who sounds so promising. Most of them are just control freaks now who want to be remembered in the history books.

America is now more concerned with winning hearts and minds, which isn't a bad motto, it's just that our country hasn't won a real war since WW2 and it had allies. It's not the lack of good soldiers, it's the lack of good front line leadership, everyone wants to lead from an armchair now. Hundreds of years ago. It was military planning and leading wars, not politicians. A good battlefield General was allowed to go in and get the job done. Now, everyone and their mother has to approve the battle strategy and get's to watch, read, and judge what has to be done in combat from the comfort of their homes.

The borders are wide open and everyone is afraid that a discrimination complaint is going to filed for capturing and processing illegals. Foreigners are taking advantage of our legal system and politicians allow it because they want to give those people amnesty in hopes that they can win popularity votes when running for some future public office.

It's my personal opinion that our country needs an extreme makeover, beginning with a new type of government and a new era of politicians. We are operating on past beliefs that are obsolete in today's world. Not too mention that the government only enforces policies, regulations, codes and laws when it see's fit to do so. My point is this: If you put fluff in, you get $hit out. So for fuq's sakes ppl, quit voting ppl into positions that are not qualified or do not have the tenacity to fight for your rights! You will get almost nothing out of them! Thank you!
Do as I say, not as I do.

It doesn't work like that for the two federal employers I work for. Hard to vote when your in the field for a month far away from civilization. It isn't my fault you are too stupid to figure out how to vote. By law you are allowed time off to vote, and absentee ballots and early voting exist for your exact position.

Maybe it is a good thing you can't figure it out. A more likely scenario is that you are simply too lazy to vote, but want to complain anyways. If you don't vote you can freely blame everyone else. What a chump.

I don't know everything, but I apparently know more than you. Not that that is much of an accomplishment. Lol

Ford apparently you can't read and comprehend my statements. Smoking mirrors once again. Your employer must follow the rules, not every employer does and federal employers get away with breaking federal laws. Trust me, I have tried to hold them accountable on several occasions, but when they have all the resources, it makes it difficult.

I will break it down for you.

You get on this thing called the Internet
You Google "early voting" and your county
You fill out a forum and request
They mail you a ballot
You fill it out
You mail it back
Done

You can also go to early voting polling stations in person.

You can fluff and moan and blame others for your inability to figure fluff out, but it doesn't make you correct. You act like you are the only one who works for the government who wants to vote... I have voted from a different country before.

Clinton is going to steam roll everyone. She is the only moderate running and this is a really bad batch of republican nominees. When the RNC is trying portray Cruz as the rational conservative nominee, you're in trouble. I would also bet Clinton is out in 4 years. RNC will find and groom someone before then. Although I thought it would have happened for this election, so what do I know.

This may be the most ridiculous, weakest election cycle of my lifetime and its been really fun to watch.

Slip: Don't underestimate the impact of Sanders not being nominated could potentially have on Dem support/voter turn out or Trumps ability to play to the Media.

I think the Tea Party (Koch inc.) is hampering the GOP. You can't take large amounts of money and use that to steamrole everyone else and expect there to be no negative repercussions. Or at least you can't allow people to think that's what you are doing.

Clinton just strikes me as an extremely corrupt individual. Although as long as the GOP controls congress I guess it's somewhat of a moot point.

Not being a US citizen I don't vote in US elections. Given how easy certain issues with the current US electoral system would be to solve, I am sometimes perplexed as to why they aren't. Even something like uniform ballots and a set procedure to do recounts... Also not sure why the way a candidate for president is chosen by the two major parties is so lengthy or complex/expensive.

I also stated that I think the leadership pool is weak. So why would I vote for people I believe are incapable. I guess I'm supposed to vote for the most capable of the incapables? Man, I really don't want to vote for any of them. I wouldn't say that Hillary is the best of candidates. But when her husband Bill was in presidency didn't they leave the country in a surplus? Women generally have great organizational skills and are some of the best communicators. I think most Americans who don't have their heads up their asses like ford have had a strong feeling that Hillary was running the country through Bill during his election. If you search through history, many women have been master manipulators through their husbands who were in positions of power, especially in times when women were not seen or treated as equals. Voting Hillary would be another symbol of change in America, so I think she will get a strong sympathy vote. Voting Obama was a symbol that rascism will not be tolerated. Voting Hillary will be a symbol that sexism won't be tolerated. I believe that we are living in an important time in America.

Spot on. The world is presently in transition from the industrial to the digital age. Societies will have to find their way in making the proper cultural adjustments to adapt. The best reference points I can think of are the transitions from the stone age to the agrarian age and from the agrarian age to the industrial age. Note the time compression when comparing the two.
These were complete game changers, impacting governance, religion, social norms, inter/intra-societal protocols, etc. Though usually slow, the changes were drastic to where, in some cases, what was considered moral and socially acceptable became immoral, socially reprehensible, even forbidden. Rule of thumb, anyone?
As a species, we are about to mature (just a bit). The alternative is premature extinction - ain't gonna happen (this time, anyway). Growth involves an amount of stress and discomfort. Hang on to your boots and try not to lose your fluff when the interesting parts come your way. They're already showing up here and there.

The two party system only exists because people are too lazy and/or gullible to ever consider voting for anyone outside those two parties. There are alternatives. The presidential ballot in particular always has several choices.

Vote third party. Your guy/girl won't win (in the near future) but every person who gives the finger to team red and team blue by voting third party forces the two major parties to try to figure out how to capture their vote next time. If you don't vote, they just don't give a fluff about your views, period. By not voting, you ensure that the two corrupt parties in power now easily remain in power without changing their ways.
