why are tanks and turrets so cheap in Alliance?

As stated, tanks are going for <$300 and turrets for double digit dollars. Much cheaper as compared to the other servers. Just wondering why?

Short answer: Supply and demand.

Long answer: Elasticity.

Serious answer: You should compare servers with bots on them to servers with bots on them. Comparing them to servers without bots will always result in the typical military market being lower because commie bots are notoriously underhit due to their high breaks and the fact they don't necessarily provide the buildings people want. Other bots don't really have enough money to buy out the military market in the same way they can buy out the much scarcer tech market. And a whole variety of reasons. But if you compare FFA to Alliance where the bot conditions are similar, you'll find the markets are similar.

That's all well and good, but $33 troops and $145 tanks is a little ridiculous regardless of the server.

I think many players will come back if you do this. Need two good bot tags of 25 who war. One wars one set the next the other than one set both. Im talking like at least 1-9 minute kills.

I've said this for a while, bots who tag up like an actual GDI bot run tag that retal and also set 'storylines' for the set. Will bring an objective other than just this boring netting or friendly wars...

Will the bots attack clans at random or do you expect war clans to want to kill them? Because, just being honest, no wardog is going to want to kill bots at random every set. And if netters get fsed by bots, the sobbing about it won't stop. I like the idea in principle but it falls short of providing entertainment for a wardog and only stands to piss off netters.

I don't see why there just isn't a higher volume of teching bots and a lower volume of indys at least until we see a balanced market.
