I was landgrabbed by a player 4 times my networth.
Both that player and I are in GDI.
GDI will not allow me to retaliate.

So what part of GDI do I not understand?
Or has that player hacked the game?

GDI has nothing to do with nw in this server. It's the humanitarian restrictions that are 4xnw (so he probably grabbed you, then jumped to over 4x your nw)

To retal you must get within 1/4 of his nw.... and if he grabbed you one time, then GDI will mean you can only landgrab him back again (cannot use special attacks unless attacked more than once)

I see. I was playing by old server rules. (twice nw earlier)

Twice NW (and half NW) is the additional restriction placed by GDI - for Alliance (and FFA, Team servers?), but does not have the "cannot use special attacks unless attacked more than once" rule.

The above 2x and 1/2 NW attacking restriction is not in place for GDI on Primary and Express because GDI on these 2 servers operates on a different ruleset (cannot use special attacks unless attacked more than once).

You probably confused the 2 different GDI rulesets.

Primary has a humanitarians of 1/4 and 4x.
All other servers have it at 1/12 and 12x.

Although tourney has a 1/2 and 2x size that you can't attack without war dec.
