40 seconds is still a lot more time than back in the day when you can kill someone within 10-15 seconds. I like the way it is now. By the time you log in, put in captcha along with the loading and stuff, it'll be 1 1/2 minutes to 2 minutes.

Even people who is at their computer will die if you have 20+ people hitting at once. Even in the old DR version that was removed a few sets ago, you still died within 1 1/2 to 2 minutes if done right. Slow enough when you act your computer, but still fast enough to get you before you log on to your mobile device.

I don't think any change should be made. Pick better wars, not server wars. 1 clan vs 1 clan will still have slower hitting and time to recover, but when you have 3-5 clans doing runs on you, you are screwed, no matter how much changes are made.

The thing is, I only get the "such and such population lost" until the first one cures. After that one, I gain population like normal without losing any. I would understand that if I kept getting population loss until the last one cures, but I don't lose population after the 1st one.

I do still get the cured message, but again, not losing population after the first one is cured.

How is this supposed to work exactly after you succeed more than once?

For example... I get bioterrorism used on me three times.

I know the first one will make you lose population each turn until it cures.

Then after 2-3 turns after the first cure, I get another cure message.

Then finally, after another 2-3 turns, I get yet another cure message.

So does the 2nd and 3rd bioterrorism succeeds do nothing? Lower pop gain?

Should be pretty interesting and put less of a load on people having to post several spy operations. Or even have it trigger something to the sites that a spy operation have been done and if it failed or not. If it can auto upload spy ops, what is stopping it from registering a spy operation on the same site?

After experiencing the BRs this set, I feel that they are WAY to weak now. There is a very LOW chance that it hit CS. I've been pounded with 500+ BRs and I didn't lose a single CS while most of my other buildings are gone. The building loss is also on the low side as I could quickly recover all my buildings with the CS that I still had within 30-50 turns or a day worths of turns, keeping in the war.

Here some things I thought could help with BRs...

- 50% chance of losing 1 CS per BR hit. The chance lower with higher luck. That way 100 BR can still knock down 50 or so CS and slow down recovery.

- Have it burn oil or food or even some tech if it destroys a Farm, Oil Rigs or Research Lab. This would make the low building loss hurt just a little more.

- Possibly increase building loss a little. Not as harmful as ABs that is, but a little more impact. Possible 25% increase or so.

Hobo, I'm with TWC and they said the exact same thing. I was ready for faster internet... but then something happened around July 4th...

They only put up 3 lines to cover most of Erie County. I was getting at least 5Mbps even on the busiest times before they put up the new lines. Every since July 4th, The internet have been at 2Mbps and just ran a test... it is at .89Mbps download right now with 1.05Mbps upload with 45ms Ping. Of course I would call someone to take a look.

The maintenance guy said that the new lines have a massive clog right now and they got to put down more lines to fix it. He said that they are working on it but there no time frame when it is done. I hope it is soon because being stuck under 1Mbps speed reminds me of the dialup days... even if it isn't "THAT" bad...

As with the customer service when trying to get someone down was terrible. They keep telling me to reset router, modem and all that over and over again on the same phone call... took forever to just get them to make an appointment to send someone over...

I do wish for an option to start as a fresh country instead of a restart with the restart bonus. Even if you have 2k farms already built up, it still does nothing for you until you get your population back to 50% or even more. It is sometimes a lot easier to to start completely fresh with 99 turns of protection instead of just 15.

I think Oil use should go up by 4-5x what it normally is, or have certain units (like jets) use more oil than troops or tanks. You have a government that is focused on Oil making. However, you will never see a Oiler being able to make top 10 or even top 50, even if they converted to Demo or Theo to resell. Even if you were one of the only oilers, you still wouldn't be able to do it.

Someone suggested using oil to explore. This is an interesting idea, but it would mean we need to start with oil on our countries to do the first batch of exploring.

I also suggest being able to FA oil to other countries. Just because... it can help them hit... or something... yeah...

You may be able to have PS use more oil than a SS, or more oil for a BR instead of GS.

I feel that turns should be increased to 50 or 75 or so. Some people may get killed instantly by a suicider because they got out of protection 1 turn too early. Once you do that, you only have 15 turns to be able to do what you need to do in 100 turns. You are prone to get suicided on again like this.

Production is the same. It takes time for it to get back to at least decent results to survive on.

I agree that units should use more oil than it should be already. Even if it just 5 folds, it should still give a demand for oil. I don't really care if Oiler isn't a winning strat. It is my favorite one and will do it every set until I get bored of it.

I wouldn't mind Custom Governments. I've seen some games do it well. In order to get a bonus in something, you must take a negative bonus elsewhere. If you think about it that way, Customs may have more negative bonuses than normal governments.

I want to be a Fascist, but could care less of the food bonus. I rather put that food bonus elsewhere, like balancing population back up...

It is an interesting idea, but spies can do more harm than a standard BR or GS and it only takes 1 turn to do it and pretty much undetectable until you log in. Imagine if spies can get kill a country without a single person on the enemy team knowing, or spying until there is only 1 hit left and kill them with that one hit.

If the change happens, a lot more people may consider going all spies just for the scenario above.
