To my knowledge he doesn't play. He just helps out with site and irc stuff.

This is also the first time I've seen someone say he is banned as well, I was under the impression it was just TC that was banned permanently.

Lets look at this a different way.

Had you been left unaffected, and only the 3 deleted. You would have almost certainly been wiped out.

Being deleted saved you all 2 weeks of playing countries for nothing. You should be thanking Pang, Mart and Qz.

It's all over now. Nobody will be taking revenge, punishment has been handed out.

Instead of all this hate, why don't you all put in some hard graft and focus efforts to rebuild the tag rather than warring on the forums against any non RD'er.

Taveren, that is exactly what is wrong with this whole situation. RD's crying about having a country deleted, when numerous people have had their whole internet security compromised!!!

Words cannot describe your idiocy Braden, I suggest you sleep off whatever it is you have been consuming and come back sober.

In most cases, a teacher will threaten the whole class with punishment, and the perpetrators will come forward not wanting their peers to be punished and normality resumes. At least, thats what happened in my school.

There are THREE MAJOR differences.

1) This is the second time there has been a major boxcar breach. Obviously the punishment the first time was not a big enough deterrence to stop people from doing it again. So a new, harsher punishment has to be used.

2) Mr.SILVER promised that admins that when RD came back, they would not cheat or do anything illegal. Heck, I bet he knew that if he did this, the whole clan would be deleted. But he still went on and did it anyway. He made a promise, and he broke it himself.

3) This isn't just cheating in game. TC and HLW could well have easily accessed emails and passwords, but they didn't. They stopped short. These guys accessed emails, which is not only cheating in game but a major security breach out of game for a lot of players.

This will work better, because the asskicking laf took, could be stonewalled, warred back, they could do "something" about it. This is unavoidable and instant. If this doesn't make people think twice about playing with cheaters, or cheating again then nothing will.

How has that said I stood back and let cheating happen? Entering a discussion with you seems to be like banging a head against a wall. You seem to be like a bull in a china shop at the moment, take a step back, breath and look at it with some logic applied.

Cheating in a game is one thing, that is what TC and HLW did.

Cheating AND acquiring passwords, that takes it to another level. Thats a serious security risk. And I have had to changed a couple of my other passwords, as have many others. Thats why the punishment is so severe.

I do know Locket, although, he will always be Oscar to me. He won't hold it against you, all 46 "other people" should hold it against the 3 responsible and never play with them again. Hopefully every clan does this. And as a result the cheats leave and the game is clean.

If they just deleted and banned the 3 responsible, most likely they would be back on the RD site within the month and still playing.

Anyway, my point is as follows. Next set, you tag up RD. You see the 3 players who caused your country, and as you put it, hours of your life, into. Do you,

A) Play with them like nothing has happened?
B) Leave the tag?
c) Get them to leave the tag?
D) Other?

Most people would refuse to play with anyone who has caused them to lose out on so much as you put it. If this was Eugene and not whoever on RD, I wouldn't play with him again.

So yeah, it does have an affect. It's an internet game, the only real way of teaching people a lesson, is to show that their peers, friends and clan mates will get the same punishment as them. Its called peer pressure.

Hopefully this can rid the game of cheats.

Locket, Braden any anyone else, Deleting the tag, imo is the only way forward.

I was on a break during TC/hlw but if I was deleted for their actions, then you just have to take it on the chin.

Deleting 3 players wouldn't have done anything, they would have played again next set like normal.

Deleting their clan, friends and peers. Wow. Guess what, that might well stop them from playing.

Are you going to want to play with people who got you deleted last set? I know I sure as hell wouldn't.

Anyway, this is unbiased. But this is FAR WORSE than anything TC and HLW did.

As H4 points out, they gained passwords. And can directly access other forms and pockets of information outside of EE/Boxcar. Work emails, emails, other accounts, its endless.

Sometime you will wake up and realize what you are saying is utter fluff, and accept this as being pretty lenient.

If you really are a new player, which I highly doubt. Then I will tell you something about grabbing called diminishing returns. Once someone gets x amount of hits in the last 24 hours, it becomes not a very wise idea to hit them again because the returns are so low.

I can guarantee you, if LaF wasn't hitting you first, another alliance would. I myself was a new player not so long ago, and I got farmed into the ground by different tags.

I'd encourage you to join LaF, they really do have some of the best teachers of the game around, then if you truly want to stick it to us, you could leave and use your new skills against us.

But if you want to learn, there is no better place.

If you want to fight, my country is 379 and i'll await your missiles with joy.

I'd like a concrete reason rather than a most likely reason.

But anyway, throughout history in our world it is the strongest country, alliance, leader, company, business, team.(Insert Anything ) that usually gets to dictate terms of an agreement, in this case a pact. This is just how it is.

If they signed the pact, they would still be alive. Doesn't matter if it was a block pact or not. They didn't sign it, and now they are dead.

I don't see how anyone can have any complaints about that? Just bite the bullet, sign a pact and net the set. Pisses me off that people who run 20 man tags put themselves and their ego's before that of their own members.

Here is an idea. Why don't you fight out a fair war next set?

Arrange numbers and an FS time.

Have two tags policing (Say for ex LaF and MD). If anyone breaks the agreement, they die. If anyone receives FA, they Die.
Fair wars do not exist unless you force agreements through. All this back and forth just makes you all look like asses. My opinion is none of you will agree to this because you all want an advantage.

Anyway, all this boils down to is that SoF's allies are coming up trumps for them, and the Evo/Sol allies are not.

I know "rankings" are purely opinions, but you seem to be ignoring some facts along the way.

I'd actually have SoF above LaF. Purely because I think if we warred, they would win. I am also fairly sure they can net, they just don't like doing it.

SoF, LaF, SoL and MD. In that order. After that it is a lottery. Membership and results change to frequently set on set to really know.

I think its pretty obvious its a new player as its an obvious mistake and not one a seasoned player would make.

Tell, you guys in Evo might not have had many new applicants in recent sets, but I can tell you that sometimes, no matter the help. They just decide to do funny things.

And I don't think smashing them back for 10 times the land really helps the game grow. And I would take that attitude if the tags where reversed as well.

but as Neal has said, this is now sorted and turned into one of the many we hate LaF threads :)

I don't need to talk to LaF leaders about antthing. I don't like netting, I don't like land trading. And I like playing in LaF. No talking needed.

I am just explaining why the game land is broken, new players struggle and everyone when they don't have trading partners or a whole tag they can farm complains about a lack of land. It's simple. It's regressive policies.

I am not sure why people don't allow land grabbing. But limit it to x number of attacks between alliances per 24 hours. no player can be hit more than once in 48 hours by the same alliance. And have your policies for breaking those rules.

At the moment the zero tolerance to grabbing really is stifling the game.

As I said, I like to war so it's no issue for me.

It would also need more than one alliance to change their political out look :)

A new player on our tag and took ~400 land. You took back 3k. What happened to cutting new players some slack and not being fluffs about everything?

The problem is pretty simple. Greed.

You all want grabbing and land to be easier, but if any one of you got grabbed, you would go crying. God forbid you spied on the country that grabbed you and found he had grown in NW to try and protect his land from being grabbed back. That would start a war.

Every alliance policies and player attitudes have restricted everyone. It shouldn't be up to qz to build in land farms for everyone, there is hundreds of thousands of acres to grab in the server.

People and alliances just need to change their attitudes and it might get somewhere.

You say you don't want a war, but SoL and Monsters vs SoF seems a pretty even war. Why did Evo feel the need to join that?

You FS'ed us last set with Tie on board. I can guarantee you I started last set in netting mode, and I am in the war dept. I also started this set with netting in mind.

If you wanted to improve relations, signing a cease fire last set and putting something on the table then could have helped? There is to much fluff measuring going on from a lot of people here. Until people can get over that I can see more big wars :)

Warring is more fun than netting, you must agree with that or you would have never FS'ed SoF oop! More tags involved means more of the set taken up with warring! :D

Locket, stop being an ass. You played on LaF long enough to know that the people in question will have been reprimanded internally. And you also know that this is a pretty sincere message from one of the best players in the game, carries some weight.

Soda's market ops, especially tech looked very suspect towards the end of the set, he was also telling people he had a "200m" finish so to add 80m on top of that to me also seems suspect. If he didn't profit from Market aid specifically for him, he profited greatly from it aimed at someone else.

The real question, is why such mechanics exist that you can freely exploit boosting mechanics right towards the end of the set. We are seeing lots of other changes but none to actually stop people NW boosting others, and that really confuses me.
