alright it's working now, but i must have cleared 65k of turrets during the error. I'm curious if whoever was selling them got paid for them.

Every time i go to buy turrets i get sent to a white screen that says, "fatal error script has been aborted". When i return to the market page i haven't bought any turrets, but whatever amount i specified has disappeared from the market. Any ideas what's going on?

We needed to invest in a potential number 1 WR after crabtree failed us in the playoffs, which is what our first pick was about. Nothing wrong with picking multiple receivers then cutting them during the offseason. Moss could be good, but he's got so many questions marks, plus his age doesn't do him any favours. Manningham is a number 2 reciever at best, he was not a deep threat like cruz or nicks, but a solid third option. Williams has potential, but definitely isn't there yet. The only threat we had was in Morgan, and we lost him to the redskins.

So ya, we might have a ton of receivers, but we don't have what we need. Teams already know vernon is our only passing threat, and if it stays that way they'll just double team him and shut our offence down. Should have picked fleener or hill in the first, then gotten AJ or a guard. I guess baalke and harbaugh once again know something everyone else doesn't. I like us picking from the pac-10, never gets enough love.

I only have 4M jets and gain about 1.5-2k acres a day, there's no need to top feed, its less efficient and the person can retal. Ya this waiting blows. But i'd rather have him release a book he feels good about, then a half finished one just to appease people. Book 5 was a little underwhelming, but still better than anything jordan wrote.

Jordan may have released a ton of books, but he was not as great a writer. Martin is trying to make this series as organic as possible, instead of just throwing random pieces of plot together he's trying to weave a cohesive story that flows from hundreds of characters individual motivations in a completely invented world. That's why people buy his books, he's taken the awesomeness of high fantasy and combined that with deeply defined characters. Tolkien and jordan were world builders, and damn good at it, but the people who inhabited their worlds were more archetypes than individuals. Over 11 books, most of jordan's main characters hardly grow or change, and almost all of his minor characters are blanketed with massive a brush of stereotype. All of his female characters are stubborn, overbearing and arrogant, seriously it's like this guy has only met one woman and decided that's how every one operates.

Wheel of time was enjoyable until like book 7, when jordans writing and characterization becomes incredibly redundant (all women are cold, men are clueless, etc.). The last two books have been good though, I think the author change livened it up a bit. Sanderson is a solid writer.

It's certainly no song of ice and fire, but it's an ok read.

there are no original ideas, only interesting ways of retelling the same story. The architecture of most modern fantasy is derived from LOTR, does that make them all bad? Of course not.

Battle royale and hunger games have a similar plot focus, children fight to the death in an arena, after that the stories are quite different. I haven't seen the hunger games movie, but the book was really enjoyable. you need to distinguish between blatant half assed rip offs (half of what hollywood produces nowadays), and interesting new ideas executed effectively. The movie might suck, i don't know, but it won't be because similar things have been done before.

he had 6-7k for a while, a savy demo could do it. if you sell at 3k a point, you only need to sell 3.6M tech points to get 11B, which would only take like 1800 turns if you're teching 2k/turn. And if you're stocking early set when bushels are high thirties and you sell at 50, you're also making a handsome profit.
