Neither do I care who you are, you're just one person.

Clans are bound to get the odd suicider who thinks he's more than a slight nuisance each set, and I'm not going to postpone my stockpiling (like a fluff I guess) to fight back (btw how exactly are we meant to fight back if you're anonymous?).

And we are certainly not going to declare war on a clan because some anonymous douchebag on AT threatened us with suicidy doom.

I think you seriously overestimate how seriously PDMers take this game, and how much we care about netgaining.

If it tends towards 1 for infinity, then there is no number between 0.999... and 1, they are the same.

wait, so if we don't commit mass suicide, we're going to have to deal with a solo kill run against us? uhoh!

barely anyone does express it as 0.99999.., but you could use that instead of 1, there's just no point in not using the integer, it's easier.

i think this is what rick was saying, he just made an error in expressing it.

Wars with 200+ player alliances, very high participation rates and amazing war chat leaders were awesoooome. Wars will never be remotely close to being as good as they used to be.

Forgotten, reread my above post, technically they were retals on retals and in terms of FA should be treated as such. My point was that I didn't even consider any previous hits when I made them, they were just more landgrabs to me. Also, when you've been playing for 10 years, no matter how good you get at it, it become fluffing boring, same stuff set after set. The game gets interesting when the politics heat up and wars break out, although since there are so few players in the game now it would obviously be a lot less interesting, although it certainly beats netgaining.

And dragonlance, yes, if a player spends as much as they can on tanks of course they'll be able to break with an AB, way to go, you certainly stuck it to PDM.

yes, but the point i was making was that my hits were not relatiations for anything, they were landgrabs.

i would have hit those countries no matter what their history was, and in terms of FA, yes you would call them retals on retals, but i didn't care because rage were incapable of retalling, so that was insignificant.

they weren't retals on retals, they were just landgrabs. i don't give a fluff about the other PDMers he hit.

there are no untagged targets to hit.

every unpacted clan is capable of retalling.. except for rage.

pdmers are choosing to hit a clan with plenty of land who can't retal and has no relation to us.

go figure..

get some jet's rage.

i have a lot of mil strat, also, when i made that grab it showed up as most acres grabbed and less in buildings. i think boxcar reported some of the actual acres as ghost acres.

YOU'RE A DEGENERATE!

Dude, when I do country searches all I get back is 10-12 RAGE countries, I've had to stop hitting them so I don't do over 3 in a 72 hour window. No RAGE, no landgrabbing.

"NA farms DK
NA gives DK a pact
NA continues to farm DK
DK declares war on LaF"

HAHA!

With land being so scare this set and clans being forced to hit each other, I'm eagerly anticipating the outbreak of a war with good justification rather than all the "hey, we could make something up, beat these guys and get ourselves some war-cred" and "they beat us last set, if we jump them this set we'll regain our war-cred" wars that seemed to be a regular occurrence when I last played.

Personal opinion. Earth isn't an appealing game anymore dude. As much as some people may still enjoy it, a purely text based game which has remained more or less the same since 1998 will not be able to attract players over a new game with graphics and geared towards a new generation of gamers.

It still illustrates the point that there were a LOT more than several thousand.

There were many standard games, and a lot of players who played either Standard, Tourney or FFA exclusively. I think the total number of earth players would be well over 100k, possibly much greater.

Earth was an AMAZING game when the player base was that big, the political side of the game was incredibly interesting.

There are currently 18,364 players in game A.

1a used to regularly have 15k+ players.

That being said, with all the new game around and the currently low membership earth's not nearly attractive enough for new players compared to other games offered.

I have friends who are the same braden. I tend to just not smoke when I have things to do though, I don't smoke often these days because I'm busier with uni and flying. But I smoked a LOT for a while, and can relate to the feeling of knowing you should lay off and get other things done, but not doing them because getting high and chilling with friends is just far more appealing.

I don't ever regret smoking weed though, it's sweet. But not as sweet as acid ;)

Oh, and yes I agree it can be addictive, and harmful if not used responsibly and in moderation, but that's the same with any drug really.

"Also, if only used for a few years, the long-term effects of Marijuana seem to be far greater than those of cigarettes."

Can you elaborate a little on that statement? What kind of usage are you talking about, chronic users? People who smoke once every couple of weeks? And exactly which long term effects, cigarettes and weed have quite different effects on the body.

I drive high sometimes. Like AoS said, unless you're very high, I don't think weed really impairs your ability to drive. It's not even in the same league as alchohol when it comes to inhibiting your awareness and reaction times.

Also, I think weed is unfairly labelled a gateway drug. Most people who use harder drugs have do start off smoking weed, but that's just because it's the most harmless and readily available illicit drug. I'd have definitely tried the drug's I've tried whether I'd smoked before or not.
