how do you explore a lot of miles at once I can only explore a few turns at a time ?

Just agreeing that's what you build turns to for the large batch explore.

If you have more than half your acres unbuilt, it will not let you explore any more.

There are also explore rates that fall at certian land totals. You want to look at where the levels are, drop or gain land to the closest level, and then explore as many turns as possible. This means all 120 turns or whatever will be at the initial level. If you explore 100 turns one at a time, you will get less land. This is called batch exploring.

So do you have figure in money and food amounts it will take for the amount of turns explored also?

of course, if money and/or food last only 100 turns then you can't spend more than 100 turns on exploring (actually less). advisor page tells how many turns remains until you ran out of money and/or bushels, if you lose 15k bushels per turn then calc 126 * 15500 to find out amount of bushels needed so that you have bushels left after batchexplore and same thing with money, if you lose 1m per turn and want to do 126 turns batchexplore you need 140m bucks to be able to do that batchexplore.

Ok, I had 1920A and all buildings built, positive cash and food flow, went to exp. 86 miles and it stopped at turn 44?

you had more than half of total land unbuilt, exploring stops when half of your land is unbuilt (fordy said it few posts up).

after you build up that ~1.9k acres then on next batch you can do 126+ turns explore.

you can't explore more then 2x your land because it becomes 50% unbuilt at that point.

There arent any miles in this game. Its turns and acres. 1 turn creates x amount of acres per turn

sometimes even 60 acres.
