So the point of team is to have smaller groups (5...) Yet its pretty obvious that the groups are just one big group split over multiple teams, someone care to explain? Or is it just the classic we make a million ally chainage.

This is how this server has operated for the last 2 years. You join a "team" which operates with various teams lol

What point are you trying to make? You asked if team server is 5 man teams
Who are all allied to each other forming a big team. I answered yes that is how this server has operated for 2 years. Large groups of people who operate together while divided into multiple teams. TSO and MIB are currently the largest at 5 teams each.

You should reread the op; I stated as a fact that the team server is intended for 5 man teams. I also stated for a fact that the teams are actually clusters of "small teams" working in tandem, so basically just alliances of 1a only smaller and forced across multiple tags making the purpose of the 5 man team cap moot....

And I asked for someone to explain why. The best answer is thus far kumanders

It's theory was good. But will never work if its not the people doing now. It's gunna be someone else. I've been trying to get it made into the old limited server.

there is nothing to explain. you stated two facts, both of which are correct. what else do you need?

the why it doesn't work the way it was intended to? because the admins won't force us, and when players try to they fail (as superfly already mentioned, two years ago)

gotta love having this discussion thrice a year for two years now!

Dont worry ClayQ, you're right, yes it should be small 5 person teams, but no it's not because people realized having a multiple tag team gives them more power, and won't break the rules (only the spirit).

Boltar, i have a request. Can you, as leader of TSO, use TSO to police the server. 5 players per team or else. that'd give your killers something to do eh? ehh??

but they're the police force, not players like the rest of us. nobody in TSO cares about this server, it's just a playgruond for them, so if they're gonna go around as a giant team killing ppl cuz theyre bored or w/e they cvould at least do it constructively, hey? what you think boltar
