depends on how many bushels you have on hand ... get caught out with few troops and 20m+ bushels on hand and the loot might be worth it ... of course, that would be a reason to hit you ..

not if the one you are hitting has 0 at home you could send 25 troops or less and use only 1 barrel. and end up getting barrels in return if the target has barrels at home.
