The Irony of the date .... 🤣 Oh damn Apoc is here too. (Scode wrote this .... You can tell by the spelling errors.)
From the iMag fluff list archives:
05/06/2005 17:27:00 GT:797
On the morning of may 1st, imag was peacefully warring a smaller apoc in an effort to try to increase war participation and weed out inactive members. Imag outclassed apoc by roughly 20 countrys at the start of the war, and with the FS advantage and higher quality members, imag was easilly mopping the floor with apoc as had been the intent when the choice of attacking apoc was made. There was no grudge against apoc, simply that they were the right size and skill to give the new recruits some practice. It seemed that both sides were enjoying the war.
On the evening of may 1st, imag, along with The Fist (who had been fighting MX) was FS'd by a MUCH larger TIE. Apparently MX was being beaten by a smaller 'the fist' and needed their help so they called in TIE to help them. However in TIE's FS they seemed to target imag countrys roughly twice as much as fist countrys. Having sustained roughly 2/3 of the hits from the FS, half of imag's 50 some odd countries were killed in the First strike alone.
Over the next few days TIE, realizing that they were wasting their time killing off a couple of much smaller alliances who had already been warring for a while, declared war on the netgaining TD as well for no apparent reason.
On May 4th, Omega, who had been FDP'd with imag for the past few sets, declared war on TIE in defense of imag. Omega unfortunatly had been hit by multies very hard at the beginning of the set, and were slightly smaller than they have been for most of the past year. They still had 90+ active and very skilled members. The war was finally looking somewhat even to the heavilly outnumbered and disorganized smaller alliances.
Keep in mind, at this point the war was still:
TIE, MX, APOC vs Omega, imag, TD, and Fist
the 'good guys' were still way outnumbered, but they were starting to recover and put out some hits against the 'bad guys'. Omega was doing most of the heavy hitting, but imag was still managing to put out a kill or so per day which isnt too bad considering 2/3 of their countrys had been destroyed in just a short 3 days.
The war continued, somewhat even until may 6th.
IX had been at war with a number of alliances for a while, but like TIE, the IX side outnumbered and severely outclassed their opponents. Like TIE, apparently IX was bored. On may 6th, IX severly tilted the scales in favor of the 'bad guys' by FSing imag and TD. TIE and IX must be FOP'd or something? Imag has never had problems with TIE in the past and IX was an ally of imag only a few sets ago.
IX and TIE shall be dealt with accordingly pending the approval of the imag leadership's acknowleding that imag is ready to get their revenge and also pending a set where IX or TIE (whoever imag's leadership decides the current target will be) is netting. There will be no half-ass'd suicide attempt, but rather a bloody massacre of the above mentioned alliances.
This is getting copied and pasted as negative entries into TIE and IX for being scummy panks, and as a positive entry into Omega for being good allys.

Oh God, I remember that war, it was one of the first ones I participated in when I first started playing in MX all those years ago.
I was fluff at the game then and I'm still fluff now lol
