This game has been declining for many years, I have been playing for over 20 of them.
I have been a big supporter of Earth 2025/EE over the many iterations, so this type of mod behaviour will kill off the remaining stalwarts.

I use VPNs for personal privacy and use split-tunnelling to block the VPN usage when accessing EE.

Without knowing for certain that it is what has happened, your reference to "hurtie words" implies that you know you sent something that was likely inappropriate.

Whether I agree with such a deletion or not, there's fair warning there on the message screen that you can be deleted for it.

If that's what's happened, I don't think any deletion is going to be overturned.

If the snowflakes get offended in general you are at risk of trouble. Which I get it slag and prime are probally trying to not be lynched by the progressive mob themselves or are possibly cult members themselves; frankly I do not know the answer to this question

I agree this place would be a lot more popular if it adopted 4chan style moderation and only deleted posts that violate law and also moderators that don’t ever play the game.

That seems to always cause drama whenever there is a deletion and it looks sketchy when it’s players from clans doing it. If you are a player you shouldn’t have mod power. I would offer to quit playing and do this but I am extremely unprofessional and also crazy. In the cool way though not the way superfly cries about all the time.

My understanding is that M4D has quite a few returning players. How does sending offensive ingame messages towards them help the game? You won the war, you can just let your clan's war performance do the talking?

With the occasional exception, game mods don't play on the servers that they moderate.

I did not try to offend anyone and having played here for over 20 years, I have never been accused of such.
I did not use any inappropriate language and my VPN is not used for gameplay.

However, being offended is now an olympic sport and if that is my crime, this game is finished.

It was me who reported those messages and if I had known it was you, Academus, I'd have settled it between us. We played together for a while in PDM and I gotta say, I would have never guessed it was you. I have always liked you, you've always been respectful, and I'm quite disappointed by how belligerent, and honestly how "Boomer" like you've become (if you wanna bring up the pronouns) since I came back this set.

It's not the 90s, we are not in our teens and 20s, and there's no reason to bring up Pride or use gay as an insult/sarcasm anymore when fluff talking. It's 2024. This game is finished if middle aged men can't move on with the times and we can't attract newer/younger players. If you wanna be mad, be mad at me.
