Just wanted to say thank you to qzjul and the rest of the admins for facilitating SOF in moving to the EarthEmpires IRC server. Without our own beloved IRC server for the past years and a newsfeed bot we were forced to settle for a channel on GameSurge like many other Alliances in the game. However, irc.earthempires.com offers newsfeeds for all alliances along with channel registration and userlists, similar to GameSurge. The newsfeed streams directly from the ingame news.

IRC commands are IRC commands, they don't really vary by server unless the server admins have coded specific new commands - what are you trying to do Thomas?

well !help and @help or whatever were the normal commands I'm used to. Now you have to /msg ChanServ for everything and none of the fluff makes sense. Just adding access levels is even more tedious and doesn't seem to work all that well.

Thomas - !commands or @commands should answer all your questions.

a ! precedes most every command on an IRC server - !addop, !addpeon, !adduser, !clvl, !topic etc.

yep... they're all different... !command doesn't work on EE IRC server...

try typing this for the list of commands:
