I have been talking to a few people about a 20 vs 20 warmonger challenge. Was going to put Team A vs Team B in a planned war with simultaneous FS's. Each side would be 100% equal numbers and would have a 35 day build time and 25 day war to decide the better warmongers.

More Details to come later but, wanted to post this hear to see who was interested. Any interested parties should PM me or find me on IRC.

I've personally always thought it would be fun to take the best meanest warmongers this game has and pit them against each other :)

Yeah there is always some advantages and disadvantages both sides have. I'm not really sure how to address that one but, will look at this. This is more of let's see who the best lb for lb warmongers their are.

Hmm, I can build a mean war country and am very turn efficient with attacks/spies/etc, have led warchats, but I suspect walling is the key to winning something like this and I just don't do that anymore.

I think this is a great idea! I am not one to participate, however I would love to watch! It would take a decent amount of organization with time differences - though i think this could be seperated semi evenly and could be something that sparks some new interest?
Perhaps an all stars war server? Or an agreement of some sort and war starts on a pre determined date. I think its a good idea and fun for many people to watch/play :)

i have seen this done on FFA with great success simply because of the scale since one player can kill 4+ countries solo. it will be difficult with 20 countries to get kills throughout the day. should be interesting to watch!

The all star teams would be those who thought they are worthy in duking it no matter who they are put up against!

So, the plan so, far is that their will be two Teams and Co Captains

One team Consists of
Leader King Cobra
#2 Dragon

The other Team consists of
Leader Don ToB
#2 TBA

All other participates will be put in a pool and we will draft until we run out. Sense this is my idea Don ToB will draft first. The idea behind is this is that no one goes out and stacks one team against the other so, that no one has a chance. The entire goal of this is a challenging war that takes the challenge of country building, activity, stonewalling (though that is not expected to be as insane as past with people having lifes) Along with pitting war chat leaders against each other. Lets see who is the best War Leaders are when the chips are down and their is no number advantage or just slaughter.

Will be setting up a GHQ Alliance site in a few days for this side for ops and a message board for our side. Think two sites will have to be set up (Very basic) for basic communication.

To answer question about who is an all star. An All star is one not afraid to challenge anybody, any where, any time. All Star consists of sound war strategy, experience, and activity. Stonewalling used to be a crucial factor in this but, with most of us grown up and not unlimited time that is not as critical as before. The key is you need to be able to hit daily and show up to chat times.

Like I said walling is not as crucial as before because both sides will be plagued by the same factor (that and restart bonuses now of days).

Showing up to chats is important because with only 20 members on each side (or how ever many we get) its crucial to have attendance to actually damage the enemy.

Makes sense next set - have you considered asking every clan leader to pick 1-2 of their best warrers (who are interested) in this wartime all stars? Such an awesome idea. This would require that clans not war, and focus on netting and not interrupting this game.

I may be interested, but I have to think of my clan first. I think pretty much all of Rage is into fighting, so I'll ask them in the forums if any of them are interested and how they feel about being split up, or would they just rather play another set in Rage and find our own war.

yea ffa would have more strats but also quicker killing.

reason for trying to have two set pieces on each side was you need at least one other the captain can lean on. We can go to pure draft if that makes others feel better. With a random flip to see who drafts first.

Just figured both side wants one other they can know can keep things organized for me that was dragon who has been helping me put this together.

Still need to talk to don tob to see who he wants on his team as his co captain.

Not sure about playing it on FFA.

But Wizard from PDM is also interested. I think a draft or let team leader choose the team should be fine.
