I think it would be greatly benefical to allow people to buy land. The price of such land would increase with amount of land of course, but this would give a great way for peaceful netters to compete. Nowadays in these servers you attack anyone in a clan and you just get PSed with some All-Jet account in the clan. It's B.S. and incredibly hard to grow. Nobody likes being grabbed/farmed. And even if it's not in a clanned server. People still have their friends in other servers and I've ran into them before and they just have friends attack you as well.

Sure, make it a bit more effective to landgrab, but having this option would help a lot. Exploring 6-10 acres a turn just doesn't cut it if you want to win.

Unfortunately, unless the cost of buying land scales up the more land you have (same way the amount explored land scales down the more land you have), it would just become "the rich gets richer", since the rich would get more land to become even richer.

Bots... bots everywhere... many of them suiciding the grabbers. That is my vision.

Yes. The price of land should increase as the amount of land you have increases. I played another game similar to Earth2025 that had this option. It was nice to let people compete without Having to grab people, which would piss anyone off. A bit of math could do the trick

Yea, we'd planned a bot API to see where we could get with bots; that's part of the super-long-term plan, but there's a bunch of things to do before then
