I noticed last night some people had 140 acres. How is this possible? I only have 120, as do most other people.

during 1st day its possible to get 20 acres bonus twice (no idea if also later), I get it by logging after reset and then ~12 hrs later in alliance.

I think it's because you can technically try to login and get your 20 bonus acres before the reset starts.

I'll have to look at the code again though, I'm not sure if that's entirely correct or not...

I made my country within the first hour or two of being able to, and also attempted to go into it right after (in hopes that I could determine the cause, as i noticed it last set too).. however it did not affect me.

hm can't be, resetting the timezone is like the very first thing that gets called! =D (yea i could probably set a default somewhere, but this is nice insurance)
