For some reason My portal says I have 6 new messages in my inbox. My forum says I have 4. I'm damned sure it's only 4.

thats odd; logging out / logging in doesn't fix it ?

Finally did the signature thing.

The portal usually has a delay. I might read a couple and it'll still claim they're unread for another few minutes.
