I was purposefully not logging in for Private Market reasons, but I wanted to make sure there was no statement about your country being removed if it doesn't log in for so long etc and so I clicked on server details. Since I had not logged in for a while, it put me to the captcha, after that it automatically logged me in and gave me the message about bonus turns. I immediately went back to the portal (I did not at any point land at the country main screen, but the bonus turns is enough) and it had considered me logged in.

I did NOT click play your country, I clicked Server details but it seems that requires a captcha which then automatically redirects you to login? This has likely ruined my finish, it would be great if my login timer could somehow be reset, but if not, perhaps someone could look to see if this could be prevented in the future?

You could have just searched the server for countries that have been created but not logged in for 2 months. Yes there's quite a few of them. (Sort by Last NW change date)

And I just tested "server details" and it didn't change my last login time. Tertius must have missed the button and hit play instead :}

I think it has to do with how long you have been logged out (and without doing bonus so that captcha is initiated). For me it was over 155 hours this time, and well over that previously. Or perhaps some issue with my account specifically, but that seems doubtful. I told qz that I would check again when I actually was going to log in, I did so, and it happened again.

The only way I can "prove" this is that I made a screen shot where you can see the address above is clearly a ServerDetails link, and there is a captcha. I have a screen shot of the next screen as well, but upon completion of the captcha it just sends you to the screen which states you have bonus turns and then on to the normal login so I don't know if there is any point in uploading it.

I did not accidentally log in, as I told qz by PM, it's over an inch apart on my screen. I cannot look at the code, so I don't know what's going on, but I have repeated the issue now, so maybe someone else could look over it and see if something was missed?

There's probably something wrong with the captcha thing. Because I've played EE for about 6 months, and never ever had to enter a captcha to log into my country except once.

I also only login from the Portal page. The one time I had to enter a captcha, I logged in from the menu on the left on the EE home page. And never logged in from there again.

I tested it; i think it actually redirects to /main; which is possible

@Xinhuan, if you do the bonus site captchas, then you bypass EE's captcha. That might explain why you never see them. If you are not doing the bonus sites and still skipping the captcha, that is entirely different.

Hmm, you're probably right. But there's little reason not to do the bonus captchas on any given day.
