I concur.
Game servers and forums have been slow the last few times i tried playing turns.
On the plus side, it's easy to save turns. I quickly lose interest.

The problem was fixed yesterday. A rogue process got out of hand. Qz has smote it.

I think there will always be a slight problem with bottlenecking on a home internet connection. Since the problem was fixed, pages no longer take > 15s to load, though there's an occasional 'burp' here and there.

small burp was today 45ish mins ago.

In the event a slowdown like this happens again (and is a continual issue), come to IRC and let a game mod in #help know about it. That's probably the fastest way to get something done about it (if anything can be done at all).
