guys just to let you know i was a 66 RAW SPAL dict with allyes and spy tech and got demoed 7 times by a 55 RAW SPAL tyr and he only failed 1 time...

today i got to 71 RAW SPAL and tried to spy the guys that demoed me 1st op i failed ... pls fix this it's absurd

PS: there is no way a 55 RAW SPAL tyr should be able to do 6 out of 7 demos on a 66 RAW SPAL dict only with the dict bonus i should be around 85.8 SPAL not to mention allyis and spy tech

66 vs 55 is not a *huge* difference; that's just 1.2x as much; heck, if they have 15-20% luck, they're equal.

But, assuming no DR, no land penalty, no luck, he has a 72% chance of success. Doing that 6/7 times is not exactly a huge stretch.

How about eating 9 missiles in a row with 48% SDI? is that a huge stretch?

My bad i calculated it the wrong way, it's 57% chance; still not unheard of.

well it's still calculated individually; so while that's unlikely to happen, it *will* eventually happen in the game, given the numbers of countries, missiles, etc etc etc

If spy allies work the same way as def allies (25%) then allies could be making a huge difference, especially if they're bigger allies with higher spy counts.

Also harmful ops success rate is pretty high.

that's normal bad luck (attacker's) and good luck (defender's), last set country had ~15% sdi and sdi stopped 2/3 of missiles I fired against that country.

dude you didn't read it all it's actually 55 vs 85,8 since i was dictatorship plus 13,9% spy tech bonus.... there is a huge difference

I think you're mistaken Soultaker. Anything less than like 300% difference isn't a "huge difference". You would need to have over 150 SPAL to have any significant advantage over a 50 SPAL country.

Possibility = 0.15*0.15*0.85 * 3 = 0.0573 which is equivalent to 5.7% still.

48% sdi stopped 0 out of 9
0.48^9 = 0.001352 which is equivalent to 0.135%

i threw ~10 missiles and only most got stopped and those which got thru were mostly cruises.
