There is like a 5ms window where it locks the scores table to regenerate them, in which you can get this happening. Though the planned behaviour was for it to wait for the lock to expire, I may not have implemented that on the scores page. It's not quite as critical as the places I did enable locking, like the "too many requests" thing.
