I know that a lot of people don't want missile purchases available on the market. Ok. Spies are not available on the market, BUT I can sell spies right now. Why can't the game allow me to sell missiles just like it allows me to sell spies?

Any thoughts- on this subject?

I think we should be able to buy spies since they are the main reason netters cant afford to prepare for war/suiciders and still compete with other netters today. Make em cost 400-450 and let them replenish like tanks.

Selling missiles on the pm would mean that a country that has maximum missiles for its acreage could dispose of missiles that it doesn't want without using turns and gaining a small income from it.

In that case it could make particularly a blindside FS more powerful due to being able to focus toward CM or NMs.

The small, missile suicider would become more powerful as well

Not sure the player base would want either of these outcomes.

Gerdler's though about spies is certainly useful. It woukd balance up a netting alliance getting hit,, as well as an option late-set to combat tech/stock stealing.

Again the downside is that the tech/stock stealers could increase their SPAL to insane levels.

You just toss your EMs at bots and before bots someone took them gladly.

You don't max on missiles in a week and if you did you wouldn't have very many. Selling missiles on privvy is a good idea, the only downside I forsee is getting lucky in protection and getting an upperhand that way.

my guess would be even though spies nw etc is similar to tanks, I feel usefulness / production should lead to probably double the cost at half the production to fit supply v demand aspects.

Selling missles on private vs public is a solid idea. Public I use to want that as well; however as I have played netting and warring it really only benefits war groups. If you stocked up on enough CM and went tyr you could wipe out an alliance without blowing stock.

Selling spys on public sounds like a solid idea just make the market price them higher like tanks. If you could buy them then you could have higher tech per turn etc.

I agree. NO public market and ONLY a sell option on private market (same as with spies)

although attacker would need to have 250k+ acres to get 1k+ chems or public would have tons of chems on sale. still even 100 chems would cause enuf dmg.

Or just let us sell 'em without letting others buy them as is the case with spies

I'm in favor of sales ONLY and no purchases of missiles. Same situation that currently exists with spies.

Sell price of missiles? Needs to be low enough that this isn't a semi-viable netting strategy or it would be overpowered...

Double the selling price of tanks.

~1k bucks per missile is under half of its nw so selling price should be above 2500 like 2.7-3k.
