Sorry to be a bother. But I am having issues playing EE via my HTC EVO SHIFT. I have tried a few things to resolve the problem "clearing cookies and the cache". Both did nothing.

What happens is some times the whole EE website is down or moved permanently. Other times ill be in the middle of running turns and the same problem pops up. Strange thing about it is one server will be down and I can enter a different one and have no problem(unless the whole site is down).

Some people have suggested it could be my data connection. I would like to rule this out due to the fact I have no connection problems with my IRC which almost always on and active. And just in case, another reason is I can access other websites while EE is dipping out on me.

well, what browser do you use on ur htc? just the browser that comes with android?

Also, it could still be your connection. phone companies sometimes try and cache things and that cache failing could be a potential problem. if its the isp's cache, clearing yours wont fix it.

If it is a problem with ee, any more info about your connection details would help

Connect via wifi. See if that works, if its the 3g connection giving you problems then that sucks.

could also try tethering to a computer and see if u have the same problems while tethered.

i think he's saying that the game dissappears while playing etc, and that some servers work while others don't sometimes. so that would make me think he is getting to the right url, just some weird ISP Cache gone wrong

ya, that is what it sounds like.

i wonder if there is some kind of meta tag or header value we can set to force mobile ISP's to not cache things?
