Can we open up a reset in FFA where we can run unlimited countries (No Bots Of Course).

FFA was originally meant to be open for unlimited countries, than due to size Mehul was forced to a limit of 15 countries...some resets had over 100k countries it was a blast...Nowadays FFA has a hard time getting to 3k countries, forcing rediculas rules such as all explore clans, some clans even restrict players from hitting other clans or untaggs due to suiciders etc.

Where is the fun, especially since you need to hit yourself to grow? Why would new players even want to play?

I've played this game since 1999 and just recently came back to this community to find out that a game I was once so addicted to has become of shell to what it used to be.

Please open up the FFA server.

open up the server to the very few players that actually want unlimited for 1 reset, as a player of ffa and also president of one of the major alliances, in my opinion this would be bad ,

a lot of FFa players don't have time for more countries, so opening it up just for the few people is just silly and will cause more people to leave,

giving suiciders the option to make unlimited countries would be very bad, and that 1 reset i doubt many netters would bother to play,

unlimited also adds more load to the server,

1 reason why Mehul limited FFA to 15 countries was cause of botters but it didn't stop players having hundreds of countries (played with and w/o bots), besides who the hell has nowadays time to hand run hundreds of countries? 100 countries takes ~3 hrs.

there was a limit? i always remember it as 15 but nobody gave a fluff...


and 100 countries is not ~3 hours. it takes ~10 mins to run 15 countries... you do the math

regardless, if it was unlimited you would have 5000 countries with 7 players

I tend to agree with warster -- i suspect the number of people playing FFA currently who actually want there to be an unlimited number of countries is a small minority

ya, FFA aready takes a disproportionate amount of resources compared to other servers in terms of both actively running it + building functionality to support it.

I agree with qz and warster; i doubt there are many folks who would want to go to unlimited and it would certainly create a much more disproportionate experience based on the amount of time you can invest in the game.

so make a server for it? :P

i wouldnt mind running a few extra for a set or two

or make it a winter or summer thing, ya know.. seasonal. i tend to see more activity in the winter time, or so it seems

unlimited countries: some would run 20-30, some would run ~50 and some would run 100+ and if alliance a happens to have majority of those players with 100+ countries then it could fight 1 vs 3 or more and still win.

ghost countries with varying level of diffictuly/risk to land grab would solve your dilemma and those who KNOW it will turn out like Mars.

no need to hit own countries unless alliance where is playing has pacted every1 then its not easy to landgrab.

I havent played FFA in 2-3 years and this is my first set back and WOW things are different, most netting alliances do not allow farming outside of hitting yourself.....crazzzzzzy!

Make it unlimited or raise the country limit :o)
