when that kind of thing happens, take a look at the source... there's usually more answers there than a screenshot :p

it seems that the quotes threw off the tag and caused the title to not display correctly in the td's a tag.

although posting again with the same text did not seem to cause a display problem, but it did cause a problem with the way the HTML looks, which leads me to think that is the problem

try IE8 compability mode oe IE9 beta (if you have Vista or Seven).

IE8 standards, quirks or compat do not work

neither does IE8 set to IE7 standards

can't use IE9

Should be fixed. Apparently, IE8 parses quotation marks in link titles incorrectly.
