Page Anchors. Would be sweet for copy/pasting to users for reading direct posts. I just implemented this on lae.com. Just like MyBB and phpBB.

Ya know, I've kinda been toying with the idea of having quotes contain links to original posts (threads with post anchors), but still not sure how to pull that off, mostly due to edited posts and such. I do have anchors coded into my version of the forums for this eventuality, but haven't committed that change to live.

What's to stop you from doing it the same way as everyone else Nuke? Just add another bit of information to the quote tag to indicate which post is being quoted... then use that to link to that post's anchor.

The fact that the make-a-quote function was called by a regex.

Anyways, me and pang sorted that out, and now quotes are hyperlinked to the posts they were quoting.

Thanks guys! -- Any chance we could get a # on the top right that is click-able? -- Not sure if I missed it or not, but how does a user determine what the post ID is of the post they just made?

Like I said, I could be blind, just can't seem to figure out how to get the #PostID into the url?
