So I started out with 15% private market bonus 30 hours ago. I changed government and started my jump. Now my private market bonus is 13%. (13.5% after I spent another 8 points on it).

Does changing government effect the bonus in any way? Either by government type or by the government change penalty?

Changing gov should affect the bonuses as well

Also when using bonus pts for permanent bonuses, stock up on bonus points as much as you can in the days prior to a gov switch. Unused bonus pts are unaffected by the change to another gov.

Should they be though? If I am not mistaken, which I very well could be, if you die your restarts resumes with your bonuses without penalty...

yea restarts get 100% of permanent bonuses but if changes govt then loses some % of perm bonuses.

does it make sense? no. if has gotten for example expenses bonus to max and few days to pm bonus and then switches govt to de/restock as demo or theo then expenses get bit bigger and pm regens is slower.
