Hello admins,

I have been looking for the relationship between switching governments and NW, but cannot seem to find an actual formula. Was hoping someone could either point me to or provide me with either a formula or the actual function in terms of NW.

Thanks!

You lose 14% of everything you have on hand when you switch the second and subsequent times. Cash, units, buildings, tech, everything but land. Unless something has changed, things on the market and units on PS are exempted so you can protect some of your resources that way. Worst case is a nearly 14% hit to your NW though.

Actually you lose more as your NW goes up, which I believe is what Ozzite is referring to. I believe it tells you how much you'll lose without actually converting, so if you are playing a country that can destock to a decent networth, just do it a little at a time and see how the % changes.

I'm pretty sure at 12M NW it increases to 15% and then continues to increase for every 1.5M NW maybe?

Oh wow, I didn't even realize that!

@ ~23mil, I'm seeing:
To change governments at this point, you must start a revolution that will consume 32% of your military, technology, buildings, and resources.

u should lose some population (civil war) and maybe a little portion of your military like 5% but i believe it should change.

Yeah, currently I am sitting at 60 mil NW and it says that I will lose 39%, eeeeek.

I am trying to figure out how much military it is worth dropping (after selling 1/4), which depends on how the % drops.

Any admins wanna share =] =] =]

Because when you are about to jump like 750mil NW, it might be worth it to drop 40% of your NW to get lower market prices for your whole stock :-P

ozzite you realize you dont have to sell the stuff so much as put it on the market so it wont sell and get it back later... then you could PS everything away if that also works and keep most of your networth just fine :P

Yes, but that doesn't work for turrets (which doesn't matter much) or tech (which matters when you have more than 10m tech points :-P)

My case is a little different than most =]

NW Range %Loss on Switch
NW < 12.0m 14%

Well, last set Osso noticed it, and it's definitely a few % higher than it used to be.
